There are 2 ways to attend the HorseTech Conference on Wednesday the 18th October 2017. The first is via the online livestream and the second is as a delegate at the Royal Veterinary College in Central London.
Livestream attendance
To attend the event remotely you need an internet connection and a mobile, iPad or PC/MAC that can stream the event. Register here and you will be sent the link on the day to watch the event. You can test your system now by clicking this link (if you can’t see and hear the video linked there get in touch with us via the contact us page and we’ll try and help you out or fix the problem).
Attending the Conference in London
Register
Firstly you’ll need to register – click here to do that now (tickets are limited and are available on a first come first served basis).
Dress code
Smart casual (anything from the event sponsor Horseware’s latest catalogue would be perfect!)
Recording
The entire event is being video recorded and live streamed. Video recordings of all the talks will be made available to registered delegates.
Questions of speakers
We’ve so much ground to cover on the day that we’ve decided to forego the usual Q&A’s and panel discussion format. Instead we’re setting up a separate speakers room where speakers can answer questions from the audiences (delegates at the RVC can write these down and submit them via the chair, delegates attending via the livestream can ask them via twitter by sending a message to @Horse_Techie).
Getting to the RVC London
The Royal Veterinary College is located in Royal College Street, London, NW1 0TU. You can plan your route to the venue by public transport with the Transport for London Journey Planner. It’s a short walk from the nearest train station which is Kings Cross/St Pancras International Station (Underground Lines: Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Northern, Victoria and Piccadilly) which is at the centre of London’s train and tube networks.
There are no car parking facilities at the RVC London. On street parking in front of the college has a maximum stay of 4 hours (charged at £2.40/hour). The closest multi-storey car park is the St. Pancras Station Car Park (Pancras Road, London, NW1 2TB) which is run by NCP.
Security/Registration Desk
Security at the RVC London requires delegates to wear their badges at all times. These will be available for collection at security/reception at the main entrance. You will need to show ID to pick your badge up.
Can I register on site?
Unfortunately security requires us to have every delegate registered prior to the 18th October 2017 so it’s not possible to just walk up and attend.
Group registration
Get in touch with us via the Contact Us page and we can arrange this.
Food & Drink
Drinks and food will be provided at the conference. If you have any specific dietary requirements please let us know on registration.
If you have any other questions please get in touch and we’ll get you an answer and update this FAQ page.
