You are invited to join us at the 2026 HorseTech Conference on Thursday 15th – Friday 16th January 2026 in Ireland (“Land of the Horse” and “Home of the Thoroughbred”) and online (via the free livestream). With a focus on Breeding the conference will provide a showcase of world leading innovations together with Insights & Inspiration from the minds that are shaping the future of how we breed and race horses.

Day 1: Conference

World leading experts will present on topics including: Genetics, Biosecurity, Stable Environment, ElectroTherapy, Wearable Tech, Horse First Fertility Innovations, Electromagnetics, Engaging Generation Alpha, Microbiome, etc.

Chaired by Rachel Mullins, a leader in equine technology and innovation, and held in a historic venue that was foundational to the creation of the thoroughbred breeding industry the Conference will also provide invaluable networking opportunities for those who are working to create a promising future for the sport and it’s rich culture.

Day 2: Guided HorseTech Tours

On Friday Delegates will take part in a guided tour of the best equestrian facilities in the world, highlights include:

> An early start will take delegates to a champion thoroughbred trainers yard to experience a world first: a live sound and vibrational healing performance at dawn developed by Sharon Quigley, founder of the Academy of Sound Therapy. This mind blowing experience will transform how you think about the acoustics of the stable environment, help you appreciate the ability you have to improve your horses health and sleep with music, and leave you understanding why the horse is critically important as humanity seeks to reintroduce therapeutic vibrations and frequencies into our built environments.

> A guided tour of select Studs that are open for the Irish Stallion Trail (the annual showcase for the Irish Thoroughbred Breeeding Indusstry that is organised by the ITM). Delegates will get to visit some of the world’s most successful studs and to experience how innovative tech is being put to work right across Ireland’s breeding landscape. Joined by presenters and fellow delegates you’ll also get plenty of insights into tech that Irish Breeders rely on to maintain their evied position as the world’s leading source for quality thoroughbreds.

9am: Welcome & Introduction by Rachel Mullins:

William Micklem, an owner, breeder, serial inventor, author and coach, will open the conference with an inspiring presentation that will motivate delegates to seize opportunities and collaborate with one another.

Sharon Quigley, founder of the Academy of Sound Therapy will provide an introduction to sound and vibrational therapy opportunities in the equine world. The talk will be complemented by a world first: delegates will be taken in very early on Friday morning to a thoroughbred racing stable that has a Equilux/Equilume performance lighting system installed. Sharon will briefly coach delegates so that they can participate in powerful dawn experience that will leave them in no doubt of the power music and vibrations have to help horses and those working with them.

David Doherty will explain and demonstrate the neurological testing procedure that he has developed to produce a reproducible IQ test for thoroughbred racehorses before discussing the opportunities for the data to be applied to advance the welfare and health of horses and the training methods and breeding decisions made by Equestrians.

Shalin Ris, CEO & Founder of EquiScore, will present on the innovative work that her tech startup is doing to analyse video to provide powerful insights for Equestrians.

Joan Morton, Kinesiologist will provide an unforgettable Kinesiology Masterclass:

Phillippa Christie, CEO & Founder, Animal Tailor presents on how AI’s are going to help ensure Equine Apparel fits biomechanicaally correctly improving welfare and reducing waste.

IMVGDY, Founder of BeyondEquestrian & BioField PEMF Technologies, will present on the electromagnetic opportunities in the breeding, training and welfare of the thoroughbred:
