15:00 – 16:10 Auditorium; Seminars
Three concentrated 15-minute sessions on the frameworks behind expansion:
Funding: “Raising Capital” — Erik Hugoson, investor, Advisor & Board Member, Sigul Invest AB
Erik Hugoson is a professional investor operating across multiple fund structures. He drives early-stage growth through his own firm, Sigul Invest, which operates with backing from the state-owned venture capital firm Saminvest. Raised on a horse farm in northern Skåne, Erik comes from an entrepreneurial family with active businesses spanning agriculture, forestry, equestrian sports, and asset management. Fun Fact: His hidden talent is his ability to hold foals steady for veterinarians during medical treatments.
Startup: “The Cross-Over Advantage” — Mia Guldhov, Founder & CEO, Guldhov EquiTech AB
Mia Guldhov is the founder of Guldhov EquiTech AB, an innovative startup bringing 3D printing and digital scanning to the traditional farriery industry. Her company has developed the world’s first patented, custom-fit horseshoe completely free from nails or adhesives. An engineer and lifelong horse professional, Mia merges modern technology and subscription-based models with a sector that has remained unchanged for centuries. Her journey proves that true innovation often requires an outsider’s perspective combined with deep insider experience. The Vision: Respect for tradition. Driven to improve it.
Scaleup: “Entering New Markets” — Ulrika Holmquist, Clinical Development tManager, Amferia AB
Ulrika Holmquist is a qualified veterinarian with a decade of professional experience as a horse racing jockey. At Amferia, she works at the intersection of clinical needs and new medical technology — bringing antimicrobial peptide-based wound care from research into real-world use. Amferia is a Chalmers-born medtech company that has gone from lab to FDA approval, developing wound care solutions that reduce bacteria locally in a safe and effective way. Their journey raises a compelling question: what if the future of human healthcare is already being shaped in veterinary medicine? This talk explores how innovation can take root in animal care, cross over into human medicine, and challenge established approaches to infection and wound treatment. The Crossover: From the racetrack to the operating table. One career, two species, the same drive.
16:15 Auditorium: Closing Remarks

There is also a livesrream that you can watch for just 50 SEK/€5. Register here for that.

David Doherty (Founder of the HorseTech Conference) will be attending and he’s keen to connect with HorseTech innovators in the region and visit equestrian facilities. Please get in touch especially if you’d like to book a meeting with him.
David will also be writing a report on the Horse Tech Summit Sweden and it will be shared on this page at a later time like we did with other HorseTech themed meetings eg. the Asian Racing Conference in Riyadh, the AI in Equine Conference and the Equine Summit. We expect this will be very good as already we’ve more than 19 HorseTech businesses from Sweden listed in the HorseTech Directory.
