As the organization creating and hosting ITBA EXPO’18, could I ask for information on Horse Tech Conference’s intentions at the event. Regards ITBA Team

    • HorseTech Conference says:

      Hi Kerry,

Thanks for reaching out. As stated in the above “we’re organising a little get together to announce the next HorseTech Conference” this is being held in Dubai and similar to the first one that was hosted at the Royal Veterinary College in London it is an event that is live streamed (free of charge) and anyone in the world with internet access can view this or watch the HD Video recordings at a later date. You can learn more about the conference I produce at HorseTechConference.com for more on my background/reasons for starting it check out the following backgrounder video (20 min):

All this ultimately means is that a few people will be getting together (at the moment it’s probably going to be in a local hotel on the Friday evening after the day wraps up at Goffs and all the people who register above for it will be sent the location/time details via email as soon as it’s confirmed) who have a shared interest in using tech to improve the breeding training and welfare of horses.

I was inspired to host this at the ITBA Expo as I read about the event in the Irish Field (the fantastic media partner for our inaugural conference) and saw your flyer stated “We can all work, but together we WIN, make ITBA Expo’18 an event to remember.. make sure you attend! We need YOUR support!!”. On talking to your CEO Shane O’Dwyer I was told all the exhibition booths were unfortunately already sold out which is a great shame as that would’ve worked great for us but an informal gathering will be enough for our needs at this stage (the talk will be live streamed and we only expect a very small number of the delegates that will attend Expo 2018 to make the trip to Dubai for the conference – especially as they can stay at home minding their horses and experience it on their iPad for free!).

I know lots of very innovative tech companies who are going (and I hope to learn about many more in the exhibition pavilion and talks) and I hope to also share some of the interesting things I discover on social media and perhaps on the HorseTech Conference website.

I have sent you a text message so you have my number and can let me know if you have any further questions.

Best wishes and good luck with what I’m sure will be an incredible Expo,

      David Doherty
      Producer of the HorseTech Conference.
